ComfyUI Artist
We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in ComfyUI who can translate ideas into AI-driven visual outputs while maintaining high quality, consistency, and realism. We value curiosity, problem-solving, and a willingness to experiment with new tools to push creative possibilities.
This is a freelance role starting in March, with remote flexibility across the EU, though the ideal candidate is based in Austria and available to work onsite.
What you’ll do
Build, manage, and optimize ComfyUI workflows for image-to-video and video-to-video pipelines
Translate creative briefs into effective AI-driven workflows
Match AI-generated content to live-action or CG plates while maintaining visual consistency across multiple shots
Troubleshoot node graphs and optimize performance, stability, and output quality
Ensure AI-generated outputs meet production quality standards and integrate seamlessly into final shots
Collaborate closely with VFX, compositing, and 3D teams, communicating creative intent and workflow decisions
Who you are
Strong hands-on experience with ComfyUI and open-source generative AI models and tools such as ControlNet, LoRAs, upscalers, and similar
Background in traditional VFX, preferably compositing or 3D generalist work
Solid awareness of the current generative AI landscape (local vs cloud, open vs closed source)
Ability to maintain visual realism, lighting, and physical plausibility across multiple shots or sequences
Basic working experience with industry-standard software such as Nuke, Houdini, Blender, Unreal Engine, or similar
Comfortable troubleshooting node graphs and optimizing outputs for production
Curious, hands-on, and excited to experiment with new AI-driven workflow
Good to have
Knowledge of dataset preparation and model training workflows
Basic Python scripting skills
Experience creating reusable workflow templates or tool setups
