Senior Compositor
Are you an experienced compositor ready to bring your creative vision to the big screen? We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Compositor to join our team at Cine Chromatix in Meran, Italy. You’ll collaborate closely with VFX Supervisors to deliver top-quality shots with both independence and efficiency. Your role will involve identifying challenges early, proposing smart solutions, and upholding the highest visual standards — even in fast-paced, high-pressure moments. As a senior team member, you’ll also help nurture junior artists and foster a positive, can-do atmosphere.
What Awaits You:

• Execute all compositing tasks including 2D/3D tracking, keying, layering elements, rotoscoping, prep, grain management, and CG integration
• Match CG elements to live-action plates and enhance full CG shots to a photorealistic level
• Collaborate with supervisors and departments to solve technical and creative challenges while ensuring production quality standards are met
• Establish and maintain visual looks for key VFX shots within sequences
• Share techniques and mentor junior team members
What Makes You a Match:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a compositor on high-end live-action features
• Strong proficiency in Nuke
• Solid understanding of photography and practical lighting
• High-quality showreel showcasing work on plate-based compositing, set extensions, full CG shots, FX and CG integration
• Strong eye for color, composition, and detail
• Proven ability to manage complex sequences at a senior level
• Experience in Digital Matte Painting, Roto, and Prep work
• Skilled in deep compositing
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive, professional attitude
